....and the nonsense continues.

Intensity is employing physical and mental effort, it’s pressing, its closing people down, it’s running more than the other team.

Thats what WE did. You don’t need the best players and it does not need years to perfect ffs.

What it does need is a manager that understands its benefits and who implements it.

Puel either doesn’t value it, or can’t get it implemented; either way he is a lame duck.

Btw, when you say ‘he’ do you mean ‘I’ Claude

One thing that was (obviously) forgotten on Saturday was that we actually started quite quickly for once, good pressing and intensity. Lets have that again today at home, get the first goal and have a nice comfy afternoon. Please.

Thank goodness someone said this - the match thread was incredibly positive up to their 2nd goal, and history has since been revised to fit the result (a topic for What Grinds My Gears if ever there were...).

fine margins were decimated by dreadful tactics/defending ......... btw, was albrightons header the first ‘decent goal’ we have scored this season ? (Ie. Not a mistake or a deflection/fluke)

I predict a Vardy brace and under 10 shots on target. They’ll be talk involving progress, mediocrity and bizarre substitutions post match.

I have no idea what to expect.

I am so bored with this glorious failure mentality that we now seem to have...play ok-ish in phases, ship the first goal or two and then rally towards the end, maybe getting a consolation goal.

Moan over, 5-0 to us and a rousing display of confident, attacking football. :scarf:

Easy 4 - 1 win with Maguire x1 Vardy x2 and Maddison x1 . Coyb keep the faith foxes never quit. Anything other that 3 points and pules in trouble

Worried for 2 pm as well when the team and bench are announced.

Crying out for both Vardy and Nacho together up front … if its going to work

this is the game to try it .. but expect an isolated Vardy formation again with Nacho on the bench.

9 hours bud, so i'm going to have to watch city play in a stuttering fashion.  I'm on a virgin flight, on the man u game I was on a delta flight and there payment system was down and the wifi was superb.  So my match post will probably be more contriversial then usual, if shot goes wrong.

Well said, The difference was in the first 4 games we sat back while working out the opposition then going for it.

Last week we took the game to Bournemouth from the kick off. It was great to see but sadly we got picked off by a top quality player in Wilson. I warned about him before the game. I'd love to have him here, He's quality.

We are going the right direction and should be ok today.
