Lets be honest, even as a firmly Puel in person. He's ****ed if he loses to Huddersfield and wont make it to Monday morning.

Puel is capable of anything. A totally unchanged side or 10 changes.

I think, at least for this week, that one might just be beyond Puel's capabilities...

Some times it takes players a little while to get to know the system and be comfortable with it. I think we all agree that the players brought in during the summer fit the bill for what we all wanted. One poor game does not mean Puel should be out. I actually think that we are moving in the right direction although on Saturday we were too adventurous which Puel admits. More time required for him. At least christmas.

The fit the bill, in terms of their age and quality, but not the formation or system Puel is trying to fit them in.

4411 for me none of the 4231 bollox with Albrighton supporting Ricardo and Maddion bridging the gap between Midfield and attack.

                              Kasper

Ricardo    Evans/Soyuncu      Maguire   Chilwell

Albrighton     Mendy           Ndidi       Gray

                             Maddison

                               Vardy

Considering we were 4-0 down how many chances did we create in the second half before the final few minutes

that would require something called patience and thats something some LCFC fans dont have,

can imagine Huddersfield will set out like they usually do for an away game, try and get a goal from a set piece or on the break then try and defend it,,

would like to see us play a 3/5/3 or something close to it with Nacho up top with Vardy but we are more likely going to see the 4/2/3/1 formation with Evans in for Morgan, maybe Amartey at RB with Ricardo further forward and possibly Albrighton in for Gray, or he'll come in for Ghezzal, so i can see at least a couple of changes tbh

We should smash Huddersfield and then we crack on.

If we lose, I can't see how the manager survives.

Then again I can't see how he survived after the miserable end to last season.

Just can't see us smashing Huddersfield. If they sit back and don't give Vardy room, the game's over and we will end up just sending endless crosses in for their giant CBs to easily head away. Hope to be proved wrong.

Don't think we should change the system, watching the game back we really weren't that bad, the first goal came from some great attacking play from us, Pereira's cross deflecting to the keeper who started the break away, Chillwell got back to make an interception that luckily fell to them and Mendy got back only for the resulting challenge seeing the ball go through his legs, not intended by them I don't think, even when Fraser got the ball we still had Morgan and Maguire behind it, Frasher still had plenty to do. The second came from a fortunate hoof ball, good second through ball but still Fraser got a little lucky with it going through Kaspers legs. The third we had plenty of opertunities to clear, in the end Ndidi tried to play it to Pereira but it got played against his hand. We created three far better chances for Vardy without relying on lucky bounces. I thought it was our best performance against them since they came up. Some bad luck and individual errors made it look far worse, certainly not a disaster.

He will face warranted criticism but he will be here regardless

I disagree sadly, as I believe he needs time to implement such a monumental change in style. Following up a heavy defeat by losing to one of the worst teams in the division at home won't sit well IMO. Especially given how kind our run of fixtures are up until the end of December, throwing points away now will be seen as alarming to the board.

I think it would take something like a 5 game losing run to force them to act in the next few months. I think they have bought into Puel's long-term plan now, like many on here. They will have their breaking point though, and there will still be doubts after that awful run last season. The earliest I expect them to make a decision, would be early December if we do go on a bad run.

i think it will also depend greatly on who will be available. I'd be gutted if they went for Big Sam.

Not looking forward to us battering them all game but we can't get a second, only for an 87th minute deflected shot to get them a completely undeserved draw. One half of Foxestalk says he's the worst manager we've ever had and the other just can't be f ucking arsed ever again

Agree...His performances at CB got him voted into the African Cup of Nations team...but hes never been given a chance to play this role with us. Worth a try.

Apart from his moment of madness for the penalty he had a decent game against Man U. If we play Ricardo down the right hand side we need a strong pacy defender behind him.

I agree he should play in a 3.

I wouldn’t have him in a CB two cos he’s a bombscare.

Id have him as the quick bloke on the right hand side of the three.

1st goal and an early goal is key, otherwise could be a grim afternoon

Strangely we were better when Morgan went off and we were down to 10 men.
