Good to see Puel shouldering the blame for Saturday's horror show, like he's said in the press. He's now making them train twice as much to rectify the mistakes he is making, when the solution could be to tweak the system that best suits this squad. The man is as stubborn as they come.

That said, the removal of the player power culture at our club is imperitive for him or the next man to succeed.

I agree but if he plays the same formation with only Morgan being replaced, I will be convinced he's lost the plot.

His stubbornness will be his undoing.

He's confirmed he won't be doing, in which case that's it as far as I'm concerned. Time he went.

Has he really said he’s not going to change the formation? What the ..

I can't remember the last time any manager gave out his match tatics in the press conference before to be honest.

In which case, I fear he'll be apologizing again.

He's got his ace up his sleeve to pin the blame on... Amartey. He'll be wheeled out with aplomb at some point if it's going tits up.

Puel is on a hiding to nothing with Huddersfield. Everyone expects and demands a win. Three points will buy him time one way or another but very little else. Anything less and it'll surely be the beginning of the end for him. This is arguably the easiest game we could have wished for and If we do slip up then we are even more of a bad place than many already think we are. Will be an interesting afternoon.

I hope he did ask mendy or iborra, whoever played beside ndidi, to drop deeper in offensive scheme so there's adequate cover for bombing fullback

The lowest number of goals scored, the highest conceded, no wins and just 2 points. Feels like Palace at home from last seaon...can only see a 0-9 scoreline.

indeed - I don't understand why so many see 4-2-3-1 as being of no use to us. plenty of top sides around Europe continue to play it. its not the system that was wrong on Saturday - it was the two holding midfielders being out of position - too high/too deep/too far apart and the central defenders, too high or too ponderous.  claude has bought/kept players to fit this broad system and to chop and change on the back of Bournemouth makes no sense to me.  whilst we will have seen the game once, the coaching staff will have studied it in depth.

I wonder if he will give wilf and demarai weekend off ?

This is some fans trying to use virtual  pressure.....There is no all of nothing, against Huddersfield...

Just fans demanding something of their own creation.....just relax and enjoy the day.

And not hiding behind the sofa tactics.....Some city fans have concentrated so much looking for a boo man, they forgot how to

Watch a simple football match.....poor souls...

What was that someone said about doing the same things and expecting a different outcome?

Sky Sports reported as saying Puel is considering resting Harry Maguire tomorrow. "Harry has played a lot of games, but I will analyse it," said Puel ahead of his side's home game against Huddersfield on Saturday. The man is clearly losing the plot if true.

Amartey and Fuchs centre back pairing coming up.

Maguire was awful at the weekend. I’m a huge fan of his but he does have a tendency to switch off at times and was lucky to still be on the pitch at the weekend. You can definitely make a case for being dropped but with Wes out I think that’s a step too far.

Have a feeling it'll be the biggest win for seasons.

The team will be hugely disappointed and will be aggressive in their approach and trying to change things.
