He can if he dosnt take him off anyone could see a red coming.

Maybe he thought our "captain" who has played endless games wouldnt be so reckless to get another yellow..

Well I think Wes has been unlucky , soft first yellow and Richarlson has just leaped into the fcuking air there and the Ref has reacted.

the first foul was a clear yellow.

I feel like it's super reactionary to blame Puel for Morgan being sent off. Sure he could have subbed Morgan off but managers don't tend to mess with CB partnerships mid-game, and you'd hope that Morgan would have the sense not to rush into anything stupid on a booking.

What’s the role of a manager during the match if it’s not to make tactical changes when things are going wrong? It was inevitable.

As much as you may or may not like Puel. He can hardly be blamed for players yellow/red cards

He can’t take off a dinosaur on a booking though. Got sent off a few weeks back so it was hardly a surprise. It’s sad to see Wes be so bad

What's the role of Captain and football player during the match if not to not rush into challenges on a booking?

He's blamed not only for not reacting on Morgans yellow but first and foremost for starting him week in week out. Does starting Morgan mean Evans and Caglar are utter shit? If he keeps insisting on Morgan we will never know that. Evans will only play when he's on a ban and Caglar in the cup
