Prayers also with the two police officers who allegedly made an attempt to rescue the occupants, if that is factually correct.

 

If not hurt themselves they will be traumatised by the incident, I hope that they are celebrated and recognised for their bravery somewhere down the line - our front line emergency services are full of heroes who run towards danger when everybody else runs away.

Had a lads night in with my 11 year old son tonight as wife and daughter away. Utterly ruined by this and my poor lad is coping with his dad upset. We’re truly gutted tonight.... ☹️

I studied in Leicester and happily lived/ worked in your city for three years. In my first year, I lived in Liberty Park, just down Raw Dykes Rd from the stadium. 

 

I'll confess that I've been in tears tonight after learning of this news. I had three fantastic years living in Leicester and am desperately sorry for this news. My thoughts are with all connected at your club and sincerely wish for a miracle. The whole world smiles with you.

Millwall supporter here, thoughts and prayers are with everybody and their families that are connected to the club. At times like this you see how important football clubs are to the local community and football supporters as a whole.

The amount of other supporters coming on here and giving their wishes is quite honestly overwhelming! Brings back the hope that humanity will prevail. Regardless of the colours of our shirts, the colours of our skin, our gender etc we are one big family and our love of football brings us together. Thank you so much to the fans of Ipswich, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Leeds, Norwich and countless others who have come on here to offer messages of support. It’s such a comfort to see these messages in probably the worst tragedy ever associated with the club.

 

Especially when said tragedy involves Vichai, a true gentleman, a man of honour and principle who has overseen the complete turn around of our club from the doldrums to established Premier League and done it all the while looking after the fans and community. Hope to god he wasn’t on board nor his family but it doesn’t look good.
