I actually think he'd be pretty good for us at the minute, weirdly. The players we had at the time were polar opposites to what we needed for his style- Jack Hobbs and Michael Morrison playing out from the back lol

Big Sam's available expert in keeping teams at this level and they go for Sousa, a guy that took us to the bottom of the championship.

Fat Sam and Puel aren't all that different - they're the sort of manager that makes you not care whether you get relegated or not, because part of you would rather watch us play in the Championship as long as there was some entertainment.

Sousa was and always will be a clown though.

We're ****ing 10th and as close to 4th than the relegation zone. Anyone saying we need big Sam to keep us in the division needs to get in the bin

Nobody has said we need Big Sam. He is clearly referring to Southampton. :dunno:

You've clearly not read the Puel out threads, or the match day threads if we're losing. There's always someone shouting for big sam and presenting a compelling argument that internet use should require a license

Wow you didn't understand/read that very well. The use of the word THEY suggest to me Leicesterpool is talking about Southampton and not us.

I'd never call Big Sam unless we were in a big relegation fight which we aren't as of now we could so much better than Big Sam. To be honest somewhere like Southampton would be good for both parties, the last two or three seasons Southampton have been hanging on to stay in this league, Big Sam goes there he can not just keep them up put push them to a mid table position in the long term, something Southampton have not done in a long time.

Doubt it, is any website commenting on replacing Puel reputable?

Just any excuse to have a laugh , reflect on what a great job Sousa did before, admittedly with the totally wrong set of players and generally keep the forum ticking over with pointless topics.:P

...and to save people from opening the 'who should be the next LCFC manager' topic.

i don't believe that thread exists tbh...  :crylaugh:

As others have mentioned, not actually a bad manager but his appointment here was bizarre. He took over Pearson's squad that in all honesty probably overachieved by finishing fifth the previous season.

Don't overlook the fitness issue when he was here. We looked knackered well before the end of games and certainly contributed to some results.

He's actually done pretty well apart from here.

Decent stint at Fiorentina aside he's managed three flat track bullies where the hard work was done before he arrived and had an unremarkable stint in China.

He's arguably a better manager now than he was the first time he stepped through the door here but that doesn't mean he's good enough.

Sousa remains friends with the owners

If being friends with the owners gives you a chance of being the LCFC manager then step forward Prince William.
