Agreed. In fact that should be the focus this window and the next. Defence is sorted but we’re just not good enough in the middle.

Horrific on the ball aren’t they? Need some big investment and sales there that’s for sure. Interesting to see if dewsbury-hall gets a chance as he seems very comfortable on the ball.

I really hope this happens before the season is over, KDH looks like another talent coming through

Defence is sorted need to rethink midfield and striking options as if puel's starters are not performing (let's face it there's only hamza and albrighton that's performing game in game out)  puel has no plan b glad he brought Barnes back from loan saves us forking out a fortune on another overrated overpriced forward!

Only the league to focus on now so probably won't see heavy investment in January, i would like to see another forward thinking/Creative centre midfield with experience like Adam Lallana or Pascal Grosb from Brighton. we require another striker to replace Shinji when we leaves at the end of the season, someone with height and better movement, personally like Vincent janessen from Spurs could work.

Each to their own but he's been a disaster since leaving the Dutch league.

No one in. Would prefer a massive clear-out in June and a measured re-build over the next two years. A contract extension to any of the out of contract 5 will most probably cost more per week than the entire weekly wage of the under 23's.     Recruit wisely and spend carefully.    Review the coaching staff too and freshen it up.

All this will require the fans to have patience so probably will not happen, sadly.

Is it worth bringing Drinkwater back? He is not good enough for Chelsea but can still do a job for us given our problem in CM. He is also linked with Ranieri at Fulham.

I don’t really see the point he’s not played for that long it will take the rest of the season to get him back to a semi decent level, would rather find someone younger and better in the summer
