oxford blue Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Qas the white kit worn v Newport the FA cup away kit? I was unsure why we played in this.Having said that, I prefer to the grey kit which I dislike. White would be my choice of away kit, possibly with yelllow as second choice. However, I think we should always wear blue for away games unless we cannot because of a clash wih the home team. What do you think? Would City agree to a poll of fans before choosing the away colours for next season?
whoareyaaa Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 The Grey kit is awful, white or yellow away . I think the white kit looks nice
That_Dude Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 The actual white one is absolutely hideous. No originality in it at all. By the far the worse of all three.

Adidas will always want 3 different kits to help sales and we will need to play in all of them.
Ashley Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Your answer is in the title. It's an away kit for a reason.

siraaj_lcfc Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 I've always thought that our third kits are bad luck. The Red One a couple of seasons ago, we only won 1 game in I think. Playing in the white one this season hasn't brought much luck either. Superstitions u say, maybe not/
rn9013 Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 The best non-home shirt of recent years for me was the 15/16 and 16/17 white shirts. Loved both of those.
siraaj_lcfc Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Is it just me that despised the Red third Kit that we had? Thought it was dreadful. Red is not for us. Blue,Black,Gold and White for the win.
Guest worth_the_wait Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 A year or two ago, we were home to Man Utd. (that is ... the Man Utd that plays in red). This City fan walks past me in a red away shirt. Explain that to me. No, don't bother!

NotTheMarketLeader Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Grey and red are shit. No connection with our traditional colours, so bin them.
AyewJoking Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Like the white kit. Got a touch of sunday league about it so it was perfect for the newport game
stripeyfox Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 The grey kit is the best shirt we've had in years
CosbehFox Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 Unbeaten in the Grey shirt.... Record of played 4, drew 1 and won 3

Voll Blau Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 All irrelevant when we should have been wearing blue against a team playing in yellow. We're getting as bad as Watford for unnecessary strip changes these days.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 January 2019 Posted 8 January 2019 100 per cent never ever Red hideous colour and just doesn’t suit us

The way we rotate a 3rd kit (which is new every season) is what baffles me, though. IMO a third kit should only be used when a clash is unavoidable, i.e. when we're away at Brighton/Huddersfield. Instead we seem to mix and match which of the kits we wear on any given occasion. Stick to the two kits and have a bland alternate strip that only changes every 2-3 seasons minimum. It brings in the money though so that'll never change.
