I've got a bbc4 doc on at the mo.

 

I know Riley is the lady of choice here and a good choice at that.

 

But Alice Roberts. A softly middle class boffin wearing a vest. Jesus lord make Wikipedia say she's single.

I think that's the thing though. My radar cancels out the likes of Riley on the basis it's unattainable.

 

Whereas Dr Alice, physically, is actually quite pull-able. I wouldn't be intimidated to approach her in, say, cafe bruxelles.

 

And therein lies the attraction. She's technically in reach (though I have to admit, she doubtless swims.in social circles with far more interesting men than me stood half cut at cafe bruxelles...I.e men who don't post on football message boards)

Just googled her. Was in same school year as me! (Tho.obvs not the same school)

 

She looks magnificent at 45. I'd have guessed at 37.

 

The occasional girl I've bumped in to from my school year are horrific. A staggering decline.
