Robert Huth Retires

Brilliant player with brilliant memories. I remember everyone moaning about how shit Morgan was getting, then all of a sudden Huth played alongside him and it made him so much better. He came at just the right time, especially for how we played back then.

I thought we knew this but whatever, I'll take it as another opportunity to say: what a legend. Thank you for everything you have done for this club.

Top signing and seems like a top bloke. Love his straight-speaking manner and dry humour.

Will always remember him 15-16 (and 14-15). When the opposition crossed it into the box, I just expected Huth (or Morgan) to clear it.....and they almost always did.

Crucial goals at Spurs and Man City, too.

Well if he's going into management I would like to think we could give him a start.

But whatever he does I wish him all the best.

Has one signing ever triggered such events as his did? Legend.

Mental that he has to publicly announce to this by responding to a fake football agent Twitter account.

He was part mentioned in his interview with Jonny Northcroft in the Times a couple of months ago.

Interestingly his missus is a theatre actress so would imagine she can often be touring

Legend. Absolute legend.

was solid, and gave his everything for the club.

will never forget when he scored his second goal at the etihad and it floated in a slow motion fashion :D

A couple disagreed with me last time I said this but I'll say it again, you can make a very strong argument that he's the best single signing we've ever made, in terms of price and the impact he had. He came into a defence that simply wasn't quite good enough to keep us up, despite how hard the team worked and actually the quality throughout the team, and took it to another level, a level capable of winning us the league and taking us to the quarter final of the CL.
