Yes, frustrating.

How many times have we heard people saying that they could get behind the team if they created?  They could cope with losing as long as we had a go?

Seems not.

This is not our day but plenty to be encouraged about.

we haven't had 'our day' since Everton

Its frustrating but at least there is a foundation to work from rather than just being sh it. Our season is over so I'd rather have our young players make (and learn from) their mistakes this season in order to become better players next season.

Nah dude going from 7th to what 12th now is a joke dude. Not about it being fifa how can you play a team without having a real striker? This aint fifa where u can put the goal keeper up front

Our real striker missed the peno while Barnes has missed 3 sitters, Gray a header, and another two headers from the CBs...

You’re coming in with the nonsense now.

"Expected goals" - the most pointless invention in football ever.

You look at our numbers in that department, and what do you take out of it? That we should score more than we actually do? Just... :crylaugh:

We need motivation in other areas, fast.

Well yes. It's a very revealing stat, the people who dislike it are the ones who don't understand it

One could argue that Puel should have not made the switch until after the penalty was taken.

As it stands now, Puel has the higher ground and his bizarre decision to not play Vardy in the first instance looks even more justified.

He's seen Silva and Iborra through the door, how long before Vardy is next?  At what point do we take the blame away from the players and look at the manager's man management skills?

How has he got higher ground?  His ego was the only thing that benefitted from having Vardy in the bench?

You can’t compare it too having a keeper upfront. Gray is more than competent as a striker which he has shown for England’s U21s.

Its games like this when certain "puel haters" show what absolute idiots they are and that they know nothing about football. Nothing about today's game is puels fault. Our players have been disgustingly bad in front of goal. No issue with the tactics and the team selection doesn't seem to have been an issue as vardy is as impotent as the rest of them. We should have scored at least 5 today and kasper has barely had a touch

You can argue that Gray is not a forward and Ghezzal is not a PL standard winger. Thats a bizzare tactical decision whichever way you look at it. Gray has missed chances because he’s not a striker. Its all good and well creating chances but if the person on the end isnt finishing them its still not good enough.

You can argue he’s shot the confidence of both Gray and Vardy with this needless tactical change so he’s not entirely blameless.

Other than that he has got the rest of the team spot on.

You could argue that, but it hasn't just been them missing. The formation, whether people liked it or not created loads of chances for lots of different players.

I think we’ve played really well.

We’ve been far, far the better team here.

We just can’t score. Vardy missed the easiest chance from the spot.

Football is about scoring goals

’We just can’t score’ is a pointless thing to say

We must take chances!
