Big question is, why cant she say why she was at the ground? I wonder if she was with someone who may have been discussing a vacancy at the club?

Oh and surely she should have said spent, not spend

18/1 for Appleton to be appointed as caretaker after Brighton seems excellent odds.

Certainly a lot more decent than those Rodgers odds, which should be closer to 4/1.

Was talking to a Celtic supporting mate at work today. He said Rogers plays a slow, passing, possession type of football, with 4 at the back, and is pretty boring most of the time. Sound familiar?

Has no choice playing against teams that sit back with 11 players in the box for 99% of the match hoping to get a counter attack

i think we will get Rodgers tbh, im not sure if it will be now or in the summer tbh, im heading more towards we'll get it all sorted now contract wise etc and he will join in the summer,

1/10 everywhere now. Pleasantly surprised if he comes before the summer but maybe?

Vardy to Arsenal was 1/10.

Mahrez to leave (during his deadline day airport sulk) was 1/33.

Someone could know something, or everyone could know nothing.

To be fair, vardy was going to Arsenal and booked in for a medical before he changed his mind

Riyads  odds to leave may have been heavily odds on but to where ???? The assumption being that Algeria wouldn’t have allowed him to leave the camp without a solid transfer likely to be completed

Don’t mind who is intrim if it happens. I’d think Rafa would be a decent choice but I do like Rodgers. Don’t fancy Martinez and I hope they don’t go that why just because he’s not doing much at the minute the next one needs to be here for a good while.

Managerial betting markets just follow the money.

It’s something the bookies can’t control, so it’s all just based on percentage of money in the market going to a particular person.

Pretty sure Vardy was trolling them the entire time? I read his book and don’t remember Vardy saying he’d decided to go there.

There was a generic ‘to leave’ option for Riyad, I recall Barca, Chelsea and somewhere else being simultaneously reported as done deals on ‘proper’ news channels.

Hopefully we get the right person in and our home support starts to turn up.

It's time for the moaning to stop, whether you wanted Puel gone or not, and get behind the lads tomorrow night for the full 90.

Our fans always seem better when something like this happens, so hoping they'll find their voices.

Looking forward to it?

I do miss the plane-tracking thread - whenever some poster pinpoints where it went, someone else assumes it's to get a certain manager etc..

This season is just quite horrible, for obvious reasons on and off the pitch, and will be quite glad when it's over.

I think the rest of the season should be an opportunityfor the players to start afresh in this minds and to 'go for it' in all of the remaining fixtures - as Vichai would want them to, despite Puel's sacking and the former's tragic passing, to try and make a very bright end of quite a depressing season.

Is that because he may leave them or that he may leave them for us ......

Leave them for us, they think he should be going to a bigger club.

hardly likely to be happy are they?

That’s true. They seem to think there’s no chance of it happening and he’s going to want to stay for 10 in a row. Says it all about that league, worst than PSG in their league.
