Some encouraging stuff from the training videos. Appeared we were working the ball out to the wings and whipping crosses in along the ground for strikers to attack.

An improvement from floating crosses to tiny strikers lol

Really but why this game we aren’t that big of rivals just the whole deeney thing no need for 12 on a Sunday

I guess after showing last week's League Cup final they have an extra game left over in their Premier League package, and what with them showing 3 other games this weekend the only available slot was Sunday at 12.

We all got tired of the double pivot but we have looked so vulnerable without it. It's not surprising as even my 10 year old pointed out that all of our defenders (except Evans) love bombing forward, 2 of our 3 central midfielders are focused on creating rather than tackling and tracking runners, and Barnes and Gray are not the type to track back a lot to help the defence, as Albrighton does. With these personnel we look dangerous going forward but rarely appear in control of games, even when we dominate possession as we did against Palace. It's a conundrum for Brendan as replacing Tielemans or Maddison with Mendy may leave Vardy even more isolated.

Welcome to Claude's world, Brendan

Don't think he'll change too much this year, think the big overhaul will start in summer

Didn't see Vardy in the training clips today, hopefully he's not injured and just in the gym. :fc:

Vardy was doing his own thing in the corner was taking shots and practicing his shooting techniques and working on fitness routines from what I could see.brenden had a good first session with them which looked promising

Press conference live on all LCFC channels... for what seems like the first time ever???

A lot of clubs in the Prem do this week in week out.... do we think this might be a Brendan move? Or simply because it is his first one?

It does make you wonder if due to Puel's dour demeanour and poor communication skills that they weren't so keen to broadcast them all live.  There of course will be a lots of interest surrounding this, his first chance to address the fans and media.  Putting aside the rights and wrongs of the different sackings but there was a world of difference between Claudio and Claude's press conferences. People actually looked forward to these things in Ranieri's time (and yes of course there was a different atmosphere, we were winning and the world was watching) whereas with Claude people fell asleep standing up.  Lets Hope Rogers can provide us with a bit of feelgood factor again.

I played a bit of footy and if you are trying to get on the end of a cross it is very unlikely that the three defenders between you and the ball are going to miss it and let you head it gently into the net.Watching us all season we Vardy and co seem to think that may happen.we do need to get in front of the man or go for he cut back plenty of cross situations and not making the best of them
