katieakita Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Seemed to be all pad and it bounced other than that close
purpleronnie Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Going out for a meal, peed off I'm gonna miss this.
StanSP Posted 8 September 2019 Author Posted 8 September 2019 England can't do it again surely?! 1 minute ago, purpleronnie said: Going out for a meal, peed off I'm gonna miss this. I've gotta leave for a wedding reception at half 5! Sounds like it could be an intense finish once again...
EastAnglianFox Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 The thought of Archer and Broad facing the new ball has me guessing it'll be done and dusted within 20 minutes of them taking it.
AKCJ Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 fair play for making it till tea. But far too little far too late. They're not lasting for 50 overs or whatever is left, but they need to take every over as it comes and keep hanging in there. The next wicket needs to last a long while because Archer, Broad and Leach will not survive the new ball.
leicsmac Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 There's 36 overs left to go but it's highly likely there will only be about 30 before the light becomes too bad. New ball due in 11 overs. Really, these two have to stick around until the new ball and for at least 10 overs into it to blunt its effect some. This is totally possible, Cardiff 2009 was a similar situation.
David Guiza Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Really can't see it happening as I think once one goes the others will follow, but I would love to see Broad come out in 4 jumpers and block everything before smashing one into David Warner
Guest Manini Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 I don’t reckon there’s ever been a less likeable Australian side than this one. Every single one of them is a ****, plain and simple.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Leach before Broad. Makes sense I suppose. I've not much confidence in Broad.

I think that’s going to occur before anything else edit: well apart from them bowling us out of course.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 New ball taken. Could be all over in a couple of minutes.

EastAnglianFox Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Its the high pitched squealing that the Australian's perform after taking a wicket that really grates, and im pretty sure its Warner that's the main culprit.
Finnegan Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 If you draw this I'll get a Jack Leach tattoo, holding a glasses cloth. * *after Izzy posts his poo video.

Detestable men Redeeming features being they were some of the best players to ever play the game, same goes for Ponting. A lot of these are second rate and just horrible little wankers. Still, if these are second rate I don’t know what that makes our lot!

Not mentioning Pat Cummins who is the best test bowler in the world? you and I have differing views on second rate my friend.

Travis Head, old mate Marnus, Harris, the bloody captain Tim Paine, Matty Wade. They had Kawaja playing for a big chunk of this series, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him post a score - add in to this Bancroft. Their bowling attack is without doubt world class and its won them this series (maybe?) but let’s not pretend this is a Goliath of an Australian side. Nathan Lyon may well be their greatest off spinner ever but he’s still a truly horrendous bloke, as is David Warner, which is more the point I was trying to make.
Izzy Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 I mean, we'll obvs still lose and all that but it's good fun this...
