Corky Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Can't we just give him 140 and spare us having to watch him bat? At least we can't drop him, catch him off no-balls and watch him play and miss at great deliveries whilst waving his bat at stupid angles.
Md9 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 think Smith was just bored of being so good and couldn’t be arsed any more
Kopic Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 I enjoy watching Smith play defensive pulls and defending balls over his head. I find it so bizarre that he is this good. Edit - nevermind.
Guest Manini Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Joe Root. Fantastic cricketer. Really suspect captain.

yorkie1999 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Blimey. Absolutely useless, we may as well let leach open the batting.
yorkie1999 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 This game will be over tonight. Absolutely useless.

Brainy Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Even when Roy doesn't open, he finds himself opening
ScouseFox Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 nicely done. just block the ball and stay in as long as possible. 2 wickets in the first over. decent.

If he’s out early so be it but to put 2 of our 3 best batsman out to face a decent attack on a wearing pitch in the dark is suicidal
deejdeej Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Roy and Denly did well there, can't have been easy on the nerves especially after that Root wicket.
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 So basically. Stokes and Bairstow again or bust. Pattern here

Absolutely outrageous that that could happen in village cricket let alone the ****ing Ashes. Worked their arses off for 4 sessions to give themselves a chance to get something, threw it all away after tea tonight.
TheSomersetFox Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Roy double ton by tea. 2-1 up here we come
