ren Posted 4 May 2019 Posted 4 May 2019 Emotional stuff watching Gilbert tear up there, inspirational man. Fair play to Higgins though true grit from him.
The Bear Posted 4 May 2019 Posted 4 May 2019 Gary Wilson calling the table "disgusting". It didn't look great to be fair.
Bert Posted 4 May 2019 Posted 4 May 2019 It’s more of a showpiece final with two big names. Harsh on the two losing semi finalists who have probably played he best snooker throughout the tournament and of their lives. Hoping for a Trump win, revenge for 8 years ago.
String fellow Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 I'm still trying work out why Selby calls himself 'The Jester from Leicester'. If it's not because of the rhyming words, is it because he's pulling everyone's leg with his world ranking of No.2?
The Bear Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 I think he's a bit of a prankster with the other players.

I thought they were all made up by the guy that introduces them into the arena, and the Jester from Leicester came about because it rhymed.
Nalis Posted 5 May 2019 Author Posted 5 May 2019 Virgo is an annoying commentator, McManus is a class above.

Voll Blau Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Going to be some final if they keep playing at this pace.
purpleronnie Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 I actually said Higgings would win even when he looked completely out of it against Gilbert....the one player I don't want to win it probably will. On that thought, I should go and put some money on a west brom v derby final.
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Id like Alan McManus to read me bed time stories, lovely, lovely tones.

Don't mind him too much until he says that, reckon he has a preset of "Where's the cue ball going" and just presses a button for it to be broadcasted.
Izzy Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Another century from Trump. Totally in the zone and playing some lovely stuff. A joy to watch at the moment.
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Higgins needs to slow this down somehow and drag the frames into a bit of a bore fest ....Judd looking incredible.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Anyone else disturbed by Dennis Taylor's heavy breathing?
ScouseFox Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 in this last frame john higgins has played possibly 3 of the worst shots i’ve ever seen in any form of snooker, let alone just the professional game.

kingfox Posted 5 May 2019 Posted 5 May 2019 Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this ends tomorrow afternoon. Judd full of confidence and in the zone.
