Mistakes all over the shop from both players; can only presume tiredness is a factor but some of the misses are really bad, as is the inability to capitalise from the opponent...

Both Trump and Ding must think that if they can get through this one despite the error-strewn play they're going to be favourites for the whole thing.

Glad Selby's out, seems like a decent bloke but cant stand his style of play whereby he hits any tough shots with the mindset of 'get the cueball safe first, if the object ball goes in its a bonus'.

 

Having said that, he ditched that style to an extent yesterday and paid the price.

Thank fvck I could see both tables from where I was sitting, Robertson vs Higgins was a boring drag.

 

Judd looked in fine form but then again Maguire is a headcase.

Agreed, for me it looks like the occasion is getting to Gilbert, can only see wily old Higgins snatching it here.

Unlucky Dave Gilbert, great effort. Tamworth is only just up the road from me. He used to come and practice in the club I play for as well.
