This board will over see a relegation in The GOAT’s last season with us after everything he’s done for Leicester.

Could there be a sadder ending?

ONE MORE SEASON!!!!

Leaving aside the PL all time list, he's looking very likely to get 200 for us. Which I don't think any of us a few years ago thought we would see a Leicester player do in our lifetime. Quite astonishing when you think of the quality of top PL defences now.

His committment to the cause is unwavering. You can never right him off.

I would'nt give up on relegation just yet either. Thankfully It's a game by game league.

I just hope the Club sort out his Contract before the seasons end to give Fans a chance to say goodbye if he's not getting an extension.

when is the statue coming?

Not sure if the commentary was the same on your side of the pond but it was great to hear the commentator on the American broadcast talk about a Vardy statue as if it were an inevitability.

I appreciate I'm probably in a minority with this but I'm starting to find the constant need to engage with opposition fans a bit tiresome now

But guys a legend, so I'll let it slide lol

He reacts to the abuse he gets from the opposition fans. It’s not a need to engage but an “ up yours” gesture.

I think if I got as much abuse from opposition fans, especially about my family, I'd want to engage with them as much as he does. Long may it continue.

When he retires from playing, I think he's going to have to emigrate for his own safety....

Vards will be in his 90s - bed-bound and barely communicative - a life of football, Red Bull, and Skittles vodka having taken its toll on his body and mind, yet spring out of bed like fvcking Grandpa Joe, point his finger in the air and make a "zero" symbol with his hands every time he hears the word "Tottenham"

Premier League fans absolutely love him when we're not playing their team. Everyone loves an all time legend shithouser.

Even getting 10 at 38 in the PL is a great return and he’s very close to that. He got stronger as last season went on. I’m still worried we are playing him for too long. You can have your Cunha’s and your Delap’s maybe even your Calvert Lewin’s. However a fit and fiery Vards is who I’d have in the run in.

Wenger on Vardy:
"Leicester won the title in 2016 ahead of us. They only lost three games. We should have won but they were amazing with Vardy, Kante and Mahrez.
"Vardy scored at the weekend and I can’t believe at his age he’s still doing it. He denied me of a title."

Imagine how many if he’d been able to play against our elite defence 😂

Listening  to Piper he seems very confident Vardys going to break Owens record and get to 151 goals hope he's right but to do that he needs to score 8 from a maximum  15 games not that confident he will achieve  it tbh

When we replace him with someone who has zero personality or goal threat, you might regret feeling this way. You should be milking every second of it lol

He's the GOAT and he was great vs Spurs.

But let's not forget that (especially at this age) he's streaky. He played and scored really well in RVN's first 2 games and then he went 7 games without a goal, and missed a good few vital chances in that bad run...

And yet he’s still going to score 10+ for us in the league, which was what the likes of Cottee, Heskey, Marshall, Claridge etc etc managed.

10 league goals is good at this level.

Correct....?

The point I was making was, last time he scored, FT got all giddy about the prospect of him scoring a hatful, getting into top 10 etc - and then he went 7 games without a goal and missed crucial chances.

To be fair, Vardy has had regular droughts like that.

I would be more worried if he wasnt getting chances. It shows he's making the right runs and getting the better of the defenders which is the main worry with his age. Just needs to capitalise.
