Even for a couple as "sheltered" as the Vardys, the Middle East is a strange choice of venue right now for a holiday.

Going to Saudi from Bahrain incredibly easy in the car. They could have simply  gone for a look about or even some shopping as there's some great shopping centres in Saudi just across from Bahrain. Some great deals on Rolexs and expensive jewelry - good discounts on the price on the UK.

I know it's largely because of shite business in the transfer market, but it's remarkable that he's still playing and finishing full games in the top flight at 37, going on 38. 

Lovely penalty today too - reminded me of his equaliser in the title season actually - I remember one comment on the Reddit post saying they could hear the Smash Bros. baseball-bat home run sound in their head as it left his foot... same again today, 9 years later. lol

Two years ago he looked done at this level. 13 games before he scored.

 

4 already and looks reasonably sharp. Will get injured at some point but create chances and he is likely to be there.

Not sure if he ever reads this thread but if I was him, I'd probably go incognito and look!

I struggle to find words to describe him. other than GOAT. 

 

Was speaking to some Spanish lads in broken English earlier and we all agreed on one thing - Vardy is amazing!

 It's rare to get this loyalty in football and be recognised everywhere.

 

Soak it up!
