With that letdown from the Arctic Monkeys, this has surely got to be one of the worst ever years for the Pyramid Stage?

Everything tomorrow looks horrendous, Sunday not much better.

Steady on, Astley is opening the stage tomorrow.

I'd never heard them before but quite enjoyed Pale Waves earlier. The lead singer is very nice looking too.

Yeah me too, i'd heard of them but don't think I've heard their stuff befort really enjoyed them, I actually prefer checking out bands I've never heard before rather than the headliners.

And What's happened to arctic monkeys? I liked them back when they were exciting, glad I saw them back then rather than what they've become now which as far as i can see/hear is some kind of crooner parody band.?????  I turned it off, maybe it got better?

They're a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, as I'm not a teenage girl. They have some really good songs though. They went from sounding like the 1975 to Avril Lavigne.

I got bored and struggled to watch the whole set. Crowd looked bored at times too.

Fair enough having a new style and singing some new stuff. But no need to change the classics. Festival crowds are there for the big ones they can sing along too.

I turned off and watched those three crazy ladies.

Love the Arctic Monkeys early stuff, can appreciate their newer stuff but they can be a hard listen.

That is a more than fair take.

But it’s also ironic this is a man who wrote the lyrics “You’re not from New York City, You’re from Rotherham”.

I’m sure they’ve been opening with Mardy Bum on their tour so I was expecting that.

That said, I do think Mirrorball sounds great live and better than on the record.

Opened with Fluorescent Adolescent in Manchester. Think they've varied it this tour but it's mostly been Brianstorm.
