Yanited A pre match

can’t recall ever starting a pre match thread and can’t recall us ever winning at OT since FT has existed .....

huge game for us ....... this and spurs to follow we need to avoid defeat and if we pick up 4 points then we will be a serious top four contender

lets hope for  players coming back from int duty with no knocks and perhaps some further confidence boosts .....

Really hope we get a result here, even if it's a draw.

If we're on our game that is possible too. Just need to keep Pogba quiet and don't let him dictate play like we usually do.

Excited to sing the Maguire/Soyuncu chant for the entire 90 mins.

I'd rather have our players than theirs.

Yesterday's game showed our flexibility and squad.  There was quite a transition  fro  starting to finishing XI.   Both looked good.

How would VAR interpret that?

Clear but not obvious.

Hamza and Ndidi for this with Tielemans in cm.

maddison and either pereth, Kevin or Harvey each side of Vardy

will be a good test of where we are

Agree, except I'd let Gray loose up front with Vards. For all his frustrating play from.our viewpoint, he frightens teams

Barnes to come on second d half

We'll need Ricardo to have a good game and keep James quiet.  Can't see why we can't go there and get a result, though.  They've looked average last couple of games and they're a Rashford injury away from struggling up front.

Absolutely would not play 2 holding mids here.  They're a very ordinary side and we've looked terrible every time we've used Choudhury and Ndidi together.  We shouldn't make lineup decisions based on the opponent's mystique, we should make them based on what they actually offer on the pitch.

Arsenal at home and Man City away debunks that opinion

I would be amazed if we didn't play Ndidi and Choudhury away at Old Trafford.  It'll be the way we go with the big six, especially away.

Learn from the Chelsea game and expect a fast start from United. If we can hold them off for their 20 mins blitz and grow into the game, we could get a result.

A defensive set up at Old Trafford of Hamza and Ndidi in defensive midfield and Perez and Maddison on the wings where we bring on Barnes if we can't hit the target?

I’d quite happily take a boring 0-0 draw and keep the unbeaten run going.

There is no big six this season.  United and Chelsea are the Little 16, just like we are.

The Premier League table would suggest that United will be more fearful of us than we are of them.

Obviously it won't be an easy game but it's definitely a winnable one. Three points at Old Trafford would be a phenomenal statement of intent.

Let's just hope all our players return from international duty fit and healthy.

Good time to play them. They're on a poor run and we look good at the moment. Vardy should hopefully run Maguire ragged and limit his ability to bring the ball out from the back as space will be left in behind.
