Also, can't help think that Maddison is out on the left, purely to get him in the starting 11 and keep the formation Rodger's wants, which I don't actually thinks suits the formation or gets the best out of Maddison. Gray starting is a strange one but Perez hasn't being doing enough, and this is a great chance for Gray to show Rodgers something! I personally would have gone with Barnes on the left, had Maddison behind Vardy alongside Tielemans and just had one of N'didi or Choudary. Also maddison will try and create stuff and fair play getting motm, but when he's getting that in that formation its picking out the best of a poor performance. Would be criminal to put him out wide after some great games in the middle. Gray in for his pace I think so they can’t just watch Vards. Barnes to come on later to add some further pace.
