It's basically their first tem against a half knackered League One side.

 

Tranmere did well to beat us in the evd but were 3 down and also had extra time which would have been energy snapping.

True but they'd be ok if the goalie doesn't drop a cross and there is no VAR..

Bit perplexed by the praise lauded onto United players. Tranmere are 3rd bottom of league one, played to extra time on Thursday and are playing an almost full strength United team.
