Just seen the Watford line-up, Pearson pretty much threw that didn't he

made sense tbf, they were asked to play 4 games in a week if they had won, and they would've probably lost to united anyway. at least he just got on with it, played his first team in their two league games and lost in the cup. imagine if it was guardiola, klopp or mourinho who had to play saturday, tuesday, thursday and saturday. we would've never heard the end of it. there would've been legal cases, they'd have threatened to withdraw from the cup, all sorts.

Well he did make Gray captain and have no-one over 23 on the bench.

Plus the likes of Pedro who probably wondered where he was!

Likes of Holebas and Kabasele probably thinking the same.

TBH thought we did well to get to Extra time!

Saves losing to Man U or getting  humped by Man City or Liverpool in a future round.

Noble misses a sitter in added time -- against a 10 man Championship side -- and West Ham's futility continues.  What a bummed-out atmosphere in that stadium.  Moyes, their players, their fans all have that haunted, relegation look about them.

Southampton just equalised. 1-1 v Spurs. Good result for us if it stays like that.

BBC commentator saying both managers desperate to avoid a replay . Why? Not like they’ve got anything else to worry about . Spurs don’t play in CL until lateFeb.

Jose had his excuses lined up before they even kicked off. He could sour soured milk, the miserable ****. I'm assuming it's some kind of public face because it's not something that'd motivate the troops.

I'm wondering what extra whinge he'll come up with now.
