Sports Grounds/Stadiums you've been to

Recommended Posts

On the theme of the grounds thread with City in the Leicester forum, what (and how many) grounds /stadiums have been to regarding any sports? Any notable ones for you?

Rules are probably actually watching a match at the stadium and probably at any semi-professional level at level, bar top level amateur sports such as Gaelic hurling and Gaelic football.

Possibly too many for a list but been to probably around a hundred covering a range of sports. Outside of football, Millenium Stadium and Croke Park are impressive. As a snooker geek I absolutely loved the Crucible, difficult to describe but you could feel the atmosphere despite no crowd noise on shots.

All the usual, but went to the oval for Surrey v Somerset in the 80's.Must have been about 14,ticket on the gate and Somerset had Bottham,Richards and Garner in their squad. So at that time you could wait down the steps at the Oval to get the autographs. So Viv and Joel came down the stairs and couldn't have been more friendly, really nice blokes! Then botham came down,i don't know wether it was the time when he was in the news about something,,but no autographs or anything.

How many hipster points do I get for Valbruna Stadium, Rovinj?

You've already got an insurmountable lead at the top of the hipster FT table. I'm almost as bad as you these days though, still not drinking the Russian caravan loose leaf yet
