I have been in Istanbul for a few days and have discovered the following

Leicester City are very well known and liked over here

The locals love Soyuncu as much as we do

We pronounce Caglar’s name completely wrong

They we’re very impressed with the 9-0

Most of the young people here want to move to England or  Germany

How the war in Syria is presented in the media, Turkey is the good guy( no surprise)

Anybody else have views from abroad?

Leicester City are respected with a form of contempt

The local love Albrighton dependent on their support.

We pronounce 'how much is it' wrong

They think Southampton are shit, hence the 9-0.

Most of the young people here want to move to Sutton Coldfield or Solihull.

Increasing number of folk agree with Boris and his recent Brexit tactics

I have been in Norfolk for a few days and have discovered the following

Leicester City are quite well known and liked as locals slowly discover organised sport.

They love their sister more than we do

We seem to be pronouncing "how are you this morning, my good neighbour?" completely wrong.

They are very impressed by automobiles.

Most of the young people here never want to move.

This thread is either misguided, or in the wrong part of the forum...

How do you pronounce 'Dave Lee Travis'

Leicester City are reasonably well known here, though some prefer the other sport Leicester is known for.

Neither pub is capable of showing the football but there are rumours of someone having access on Church Lane.

Nearby residents of Seagrave are still fuming about losing their golf course.

The busses are very regular - at least one every Sunday.

Some of the working class scum like myself seem to be pronouncing "I say, pick your dog's shit up you bastard posh wannabe" completely wrong.

The flooding in the centre of the village is going down slower than Southampton.

How the butchers in Queniborough is presented in the media is completely wrong. It had NOTHING to do with that CDJ outbreak.

Most young people here want to move to East Goscote for its scenery and irregular stabbings. Though mainly for the more regular busses.

Everyone has forgotten who Leicester are, I have to explain repeatedly that we are 100 miles north of London, and London is not a country!

The spuds and arses have gone very quiet.

Liverpool fans showing signs of panic.

Some stupid budgies still think Madison made the wrong move.

Oh and people in suffolk are still born with five finger just like cov fans.

Over my head, turt...

It was a riff on @ozleicester above asking the OP to utilise local knowledge re. pronouncing Caglar's name (DLT was born in Buxton). TBH, over your head is the best place for it.

I know stories about DLT, not for public consumption however...
