Bozman Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 That's the worst back flip iv'e ever seen, almost embarrassing.. Bin him..
Finnegan Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 I've always wanted us to sign a Mexican. Get him in, regardless of quality.
GDesign_JRC Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 @NasPb and me have been asking about him to Mexican people and replied to us with: "Alvarado is unreliable. He plays one good game and disappears for the next 5. Needs to get benched from time to time so he can feel the pressure and perform more often." "Alvarado plays as CAM or RW. Excellent vision, very good crossing and mature. He rarely makes a bad pass or risk a ball. Similar to Di Maria's style." "I am not from Cruz Azul, but in my opinion, it has a lot of individual quality, speed and dribbling. He is a very good player, of the players with the greatest potential in Mexico. He could play as CAM but performs best by playing as a right winger"
Finnegan Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 I love the comment on Wikipedia that says he can play as a second striker but diplomatically says something like "however, when looking at the ratio of his shots that go on and off target, finishing may not be his best asset" or something.
NasPb Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Some other comments from cruz azul fans "He plays normally on the right, sometimes he plays as an offensive medium. He is 21 years old and has a lot of potential. In my opinion I think that He should stay in Cruz Azul for a minimum 1 year to find and pace. I do not think it came to play as a starter." "Roberto Alvarado is young, has a dribble, has a good touch of the ball, is a player that we love a lot in Cruz Azul, he must have been in Europe for a long time, he is the holder of the Mexican national team and Cruz Azul, and as he passes the time is playing better."

Deeg67 Posted 8 January 2020 Posted 8 January 2020 The Mexican development system seems to cultivate a lot of "flair" players, and Alvarado fits the pattern. Undeniable skill but there's be sizable risk - the jump in quality of the competition would be considerable.
