Apart from the PK, and the brief spell thereafter, what else did they have to be vocal about?

They got to get out of London, exciting  for them to get away from  where they live, I've seen EastEnders, poor cockney fuchers.

They're not West Ham anymore. I genuinely think if I was them I'd pack it in with the Olympic Stadium, it's that bad.

I feel a bit for them. Their club has been stolen from them by three pornographers.

Although not geographically equivalent, emotionally I think the Olympic Stadium move is similar to us building a brand new stadium next to the M69 in Hinckley. The entire soul of the West Ham has been diluted. By porn!

West ham were poor first half, but better second half.

Ourselves I felt its the first time the team put in a shift probably since november, I feel as if something happened behind closed doors, clear the air talks between players maybe as they were playing as if they had kick up the backside.

Finally players running forward with ball instead of passing back.  Improved closing down.  Plus working together to crowd opposition players with ball.  All of which has been missing for almost 2 months.

Okay so they were poor BUT.. much more like it. Passes slicker, broke the lines with incisive passing not just sideways stuff. Tielemens was very good tonight and reminded me of last season form. Ricardo an exceptional fullback and tonight was a joy to watch. Perez worked hard and chuffed to see A reward for him. Nacho slotted in nicely, fingers crossed for Vards. Great night City 👍

Overall a very good performance. Dominated majority of the match & played good football. Youri back to his best, Ricardo brilliant as always. Iheanacho good off the bench. Perez & Barnes were brilliant too. Good support from our fans today. Thought block L1 were very good tonight. Quality banter with them & the West Ham fans (who were surprisingly poor tonight). The KOP sounded good too. Especially when they got the “were on our way to the champions league Jonny Evans at the back Jamie Vardy in attack pack your bags cause Leicester’s on the way”

I've said a lot in all the players thread for those who I thought were fantastic and well worth the plaudits today - Pereira, Barnes, Chilwell, Kelechi, Perez. All were brilliant.

Youri looked back to normal too and not fatigued one bit. They all seemed so hungry to put the last few games right and get back to winning ways and they did it in style. It reminded me of the way we were stylish and attractive to watch earlier on in the season when we seemed unstoppable.

A lot of teams this season in this division would have crumbled at the absolute joke of the penalty they got as well as having the lead halved. But it didn't seem to faze the team at all and they remained professional, calm and controlled.

Our dominance today was incredible. Right from the start we took control and West Ham barely had a sniff. The penalty was probably their only shot on target?

Chris Kavanagh needs his head checking for their penalty - Haller (?) barges in to Ndidi, then trips on his own foot and goes down lol. How the fvck VAR didn't overturn it again is beyond me. It's not even a foul on Ndidi. Should just carry on. After that he seemed to lose a bit of control of the game. Amazing it took until our penalty for one of their players to be booked too.

Anyway, enough about the ref as he's not even the secondary focus from tonight. A very convincing win and Brendan got everything spot on today. Great to see Ndidi back in action but equally a real shame to see Vardy & Mendy go down injured. Hopefully injuries aren't serious. It seemed today was a real statement that perhaps it was just a blip and now we're ready for another busy period of our season with some extremely important games coming up, not to mention huge games in February...

I think there were alot of heads turned from agent offers. Even if it wasn't about January, i reckon theres at least 5 of that first team who've been told about potential offers.

Needed reassessment of their duty and their goals for the season. Lets not lose sight of the fact top 4 would be the 2nd biggest achievement in our history.

I imagine words were had after Burnley

Kasper did at times seem frustrated again tonight ,He evans and Vardy are so much older than the rest of the squard at times, it must feel like parenting a young group.

The concern for me still is the last 14 games are very very tougth so this points lead over fourth is needed as the gap could still close.

Need to be at it game in game out.

Thanks, how much do you put down to the players and how much to the opponents?

Did they press or were they sitting back? I assumed we were going to get a lesson in bus parking

West Ham were bad but whenever a team is that bad I always think there's a job to be done and the players did such a job expertly. Just gotta think if West Ham were that bad again and we didn't beat them how would we feel?

I think they pressed but we were far quicker and hungrier than them which Moyes alluded to in his press conference afterwards. So we overcame their minimal press fairly easily to be honest.

We utilised Chilwell and Pereira in attacking sense very well. Created lots of space for them to run in to and that's when we looked very threatening to them and dangerous.

Overall, a really good performance. The quality of the team shone through in the second half against a side that was outclassed in first half, but then brought out the physical side in the second half. Amazed it took so long for the referee to produce a yellow card to a West Ham player.

A relatively comfortable win, and was especially pleased for Tielemans and Chilwell, who we all know had been below par for some time but really pulled it out the bag today. A couple of things to still work, such as our ineffective set pieces (maybe get someone else to take corners) and Kasper's diabolical distribution, but this is a massive step in the right direction to being back to our best.

But to keep things in perspective, 14 points ahead of 5th heading into February? I'd have bitten that hand clean off at the start of the season.

We've scored the 3rd highest amount of goals from corners this season.

Outstanding performance and result. Was concerned at 2-1, but otherwise we smashed them.  Loved seeing Chilwell bombing forward and Tielemans showed his true class and leadership.  West Ham not great but we limited their play. Doesn’t sound like Vardy is too bad and hoping Mendy recovers quickly. Awesome to see Ndidi back, wasn’t a penalty, and thought Iheanacho was sharp.  Ricardo and Harvey really good. Loved hearing the fans getting behind us again.  Love fest is back on!

Excellent performance,  we have 48 points without picking up another point probably 8/9 teams will finish below us. We are a project and there will be setbacks but enjoy boys and girls we have an exciting team to be very proud of, coyb.

They were awful which makes it hard to know how well we played .... but you can only beat what’s in front of you .... at least we played around whatever press they attempted which will hopefully give us back some confidence in this area ....

anyone offer an explanation for chucking every corner into the six yard box against the tallest team in the world ??  Can only think we thought second balls and working another cross was a better option than short corners ??
