West Ham Home - Post Match Thread (4-1)

Really enjoyed that. Was worried at 2-1 after their goal which was never a pen. They were a poor side and we took full advantage and moved the ball quick with ideas for the first time in ages.

Very pleased for Barnes. So glad be got a goal and an assist. Just hope it's a purple patch for him now and he kicks on. Could do with him firing if vardy is out for a while

Tielmans much better tonight. Hope he can reach his top form like he did last back end of last season.

Thought the ref was crap for both teams. Wanted to give loads of small niggly fouls for nothing.

Would say Ricardo was motm. Went up and down all night and was a real threat.

Hope this results in a few wins on the bounce now. Really need it!

Just what we needed. The confidence at the end is great for everyone moving forward. Overall superb.

Not going to lie, was worried at 2-1 for a bit but we stepped up a gear looking for the third and got it. Luckily just before Morgan came on as it would have been nervous otherwise.

Some great football and performances, and with some food character too.

Almost there in the league. Now for the cup.

Thank Fuch That was an amazing performance all round thought Kasper was going to Tw@ the ref tonight, but whatever Brendan has said or done to turn us around with such an amazing performance I’ll take that.

Some outstanding performances by some that’s gone missing last few games but that was pretty decent bit of a backward step second half first 10 min but overall brilliant display, mate watching this with me at works a Vile fan said if we play like that against them next week we’ll destroy them but let’s hope we get the next game out the way with a win then get onto the next keeping up this quality amazing performances.

Absolutely brilliant performance considering the struggles we've had in recent weeks and then copping two injuries in the first half. Rode out the storm well too.

10/10 for me. All things considered

Could be one of our most important wins of the season.

Good game to watch. Thought we looked scary good going forward, still don’t rate us defending set pieces. We still shit ourselves when teams try and put it up us.

No complaints though, needed that. On to the next!

Officials = -5 out of 10

A masterclass not seen at home for quite some time. To a man we were superb tonight. Barnes was unplayable first half, Tielemans 2nd half. Ricardo all game was just outrageous. Buzzing for Perez to get his first home goals and Barnes his 1st home league goal.

Not so great that Mendy and Vardy could be out but this team is made of sterner stuff, this will be a massive confidence boost. Especially to ride out that part of the game where we could have thrown our 2 goal lead away.

Have we now got wingers who can score goals? 😂 Perez on 7 and 5 assists, Barnes on 3 and 6 assists. Keep it up boys!!

I bloody love Iheanacho as well, what a man.

Enjoyed (most) of that. Played some lovely stuff. Also looks like Barnes has arrived! Ricardo has to be one of the best right backs in the world, he's Kante level good for his position.

Also, that performance is even more impressive when you consider the extra pressure our previous two results must have put on them.

Fantastic performance. For the people saying “West Ham are awful”. We made them look bad. Shaky start to the second half for us, but that was ever so pleasing on the eye. Gets the confidence back up for two big cup games. Hopefully the injuries aren’t too bad but Iheanacho fits this system really well. Never looked decent when we were counter attack based but he holds the ball up well and takes up some very good positions.

Can’t say anyone had a bad game, but pleasing to see much more positive performances from Chilwell and Tielemans. Perez was class pressing for us and fully deserved his goals.

Great win, 14 points clear of 5th.
