Think it could be a defining moment in terms of CL qualification with Man Utd losing, can only throw it away now. See you at Celtic Park in Group A for the "Battle of Britain" in October!
Sir Shep Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Oh jeez, no Chilwell is awful, Perez can get in the bin, it must be a Wednesday and a glorious home win!

Another 10 minutes of hearing the commentator say Iheanashio and I would've been out the window Did you hear when the score came in from Norwich? "And PUCKY has put Norwich ahead.."

Mythyaar Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Back on track. Great performance full of attacking intent, superb stuff at times, could easily have been 7 or 8!
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Other than the dodgy spell around the penalty - I wish Kasper would boss his box better - we were thoroughly excellent and deserved the big win. Showed character too to weather that dip early second half as West Ham went physical. Hopefully, Vardy and Mendy OK. The latter deserves a shout out as he did well.
Guest MattP Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Wonderful. Players seemed up for it again, tactics spot on. Great day with Man U about to drop points as well.
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 It's not the personnel, the formation or whatever. Work rate. Brilliant tonight, ran down everything. Brilliant. Need to keep at this level of play now. Iheanachio (BT commentary terrible mind) will eventually smash in the goals. Reckon Vardy has pulled a muscle, he will be fine.
Bryn Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Rodger's just said the Vardy injury not too serious. Gluteal rather than hamstring.
EastAnglianFox Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Brendan says Vardy doesn't look to serious, early signs are a glute strain
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Thoroughly enjoyed the whole game. We played some scintillating stuff at times, with Barnes and Ricardo particularly, on fire. I do wish our fans would just ease off our young stars. They won’t be amazing every game but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some great young players... we do. Mention too to Wilf, who’s return is very welcome and again to Pérez who played much better today. Loved it
dylanlegend Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Worried more about Wolves than Man U or spurs
copunk Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Its been said to death but im gonna say it again, the form and difference in nacho since Rodgers took over is genuinely outstanding, a player reborn and looking back i think its safe to say how glad we all are that we didnt ship him out, came on and did a class job, brilliant hold up play, his run to win the penalty was superb and his assist for ayozes second was different class

chrishlcfc Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Good win, always confident we’d win tonight as I said on the pre match thread. Foxestalk meltdown averted

trabuch Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Most enjoyable. Very good performance. Nacho has blossomed, Perez did well, Barnes shows what he can do with a bit of time. I hope Vards is OK, but I'm not as worried as I would have been a while ago regarding his replacement. Mendy did well until his injury, but Wilf is back. Tielemens seems to be finding the form we all know he's capable of. Ricky P - no need for words. Happy days are here again.

justfoxes Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 swing that Ricardo goal again that was just some amazing football Barnes kept the ball in when most were thinking it had gone out and the pass between that defence and bodies was just world Class Barnes is going to just get better and better very Gazzaesque at times ! 🦊💙🦊💙
RoboFox Posted 22 January 2020 Posted 22 January 2020 Thoroughly enjoyed that. What a cathartic way to dispel the negativity. Just gotta carry that on into Saturday now. Super chuffed for the Nacho man too. Looks like an entirely different player to the one playing under Puel. (Psst... Nobody mention Ricardo and hopefully nobody will notice he’s playing for us)
