No political discussion in this topic. That is complaining about a country, a politician, a party and/or its voters, etc

I take it there is a mistake in the bottom paragrath, as there are no results for people aged 40-59 or the first group of results was supposed to be 16-59?

It Should say 40-69 .....

I’ve thought this for a while, as soon as there is a sniff that she can be got at, it’s like a pack of wolves. Shameful really.

If you don't like it, stop doing it every time a labour MP has a slip of the tongue.  Take away our power to point out exactly how you guys would respond if she was a labour MP.  Simples.

I'd love to know how many people who flouted the 'stay at home' rules have now got the virus, passed it on, or even worse provided the catalyst for someone they know and love to be hospitalised. May sound bad but it's sometimes good to know if karma is working...

No, eat better. Eating just eating less won't make you lose weight.

Spot on, if you eat right, you don't have to eat less.

Wonder if it's part of the reason Americans are dropping like flies?

You can still get fat eating too much fruit and veg.

Calories in Vs calories out it's what matters most.

Healthy eating certainly helps and should be encouraged, but consider the full picture.

You seem to be forgetting why we are staying at home. You think we are trying to eradicate the virus?

We're only flattening the curve. We can't stop it.

Didn't say that , we have nearly a thousand people a day dying and peeps are saying how wonderful it is that the world is so quiet and peaceful.

Happy Easter.

Unfortunately mate life has to go on for the rest of us. We’re all in this together, on whatever level.

Life is mainly shit for all of us right now. You gotta try and make the most of what you’ve got pal. You’ll drive yourself fcuking mad if you don’t.

Graph with deaths per percentage of population.

IMG_20200411_205609.jpg

This is lower because we're at an earlier stage of our outbreak. Italy are looking like limiting theirs to 25k, Spain 20k. We're going to be looking at 20k in ten days, which is the new 'peak'. We will have more deaths than Italy and Spain.

So it would be great if you could post an updated version in a months time.

exactly until a vaccine is made (don't worry Bill is on the case) it could re bound when country's return to normal, he was also saying that poorer countries are still yet to see the effect and will be a lot worse in those places over time due to health care and so on so it isn't going to stop anytime soon.

And most scousers still don’t understand that his problem was an infection and not COVID-19 !

As I understand it, he tested positive for Covid-19 but was asymptomatic from it - but had been admitted due to a different problem?

So, yes, you're right - but there was an obvious risk there. People can be asymptomatic for some days, then deteriorate sharply....not to mention the danger of being further infected while in hospital, due to lots of people in small area, hospital workers who are infected but asymptomatic etc.

Why so negative?  We will probably end up in the same area as Italy and Spain (possibly France too).  20/25k ........

I’m not aware of asymptomatic sufferers having a sudden downturn (unless the initial positive test is before symptoms have had time to show) - and if asymptomatic, I’m not sure how exposure to more of the virus is significant .....if your body has an asymptomatic response to the virus then surely that reflects your body’s response to the virus ?  Or could it be that a low exposure is likely to lead to an asymptomatic reposnse ??????

People are stupid but to say someone’s family member being hospitalised is ‘karma’ is a bit harsh really.

The lad who licked a toilet seat and ended up in ICU, yeah. Someones elderly relative being critical because of it, maybe not so much. I mean, they’ll have obviously suffered but some innocent elderly person being seriously ill is a stretch for karma.

That's not really what we're doing though, one side is comparing how the different parties would respond and the other side is making it Abbot-fest 2020 where all the people jumping in to explain why they're justified to hate Abbott and list off all her gaffes is only reinforcing the initial point about double standards in apparent 'values'.  It's unbelievable lack of awareness tbh.

Yeeees, that's exactlly what happened.      :frusty:

Now, remind me.  Who jumped on Patel's error?  The left being above this kind of thing, of course  Double standards obviously don't apply to the left.

And who brought Abbott into it in the first place, inviting the comparison?

Brilliant spinning to do all that and still somehow blame us evil tories.  lol

A friend of mine works for the police and the sheer amount of people grassing on each other  for flouting the "rules" is pathetic.

I think that's exactly what karma is. Had they stayed at home, they wouldn't have passed it on, no?

This twitter thread indicates the UK has had a bit of a shocker.

Density of population here is going to effect things and how easily the virus spreads.

Aside from Dublin Ireland is not really representative of the rest of the UK.

We've been hit hardest in the big cities, as replicated in pretty much the rest of Europe and USA.

Having read quite a bit about the pros and cons of wearing masks, one question remains. If you've got the virus and wear a mask to protect others, aren't you also preventing your own body from shedding some of the infection, thereby making your own situation worse?

Reminds me of the very shit official theme for Euro 96. Mick Hucknall.

Depends what they’re doing to flout the ‘rules’ ......  the idea is that we’re supposed to be protecting NHS frontline staff from being over exposed to this thing.  If people want to mix and catch this thing and then die then I’m not really bothered about them but the NHS staff and their families being put at risk is the issue .......

It doesn’t work like that ......
