No political discussion in this topic. That is complaining about a country, a politician, a party and/or its voters, etc

I don't mean you were wrong to say it, as in you are entitled to your opinion.  Perhaps I should have said that I think you are wrong.  That's what I meant.  As for Corbyn, well yes he is another that is prone to the odd own goal or ten, but the point is Abbott is not lampooned for slips of the tongue but for being a standing joke.  To show that, I have to compare Abbotts gaffs against Patel's today,

The point is you Tories love to deflect from more important issues by feigning incredulity at ridiculously benign things like what colour jacket Jeremy's wearing or how Ed eats a sandwich.  It's a bit tiring seeing major political decisions being made on the back of people who buy into primary school level popularity contests   But the second it's a Tory MP making a gaffe we can't even point out how the Tory machine would respond without triggering this zealous defence as though anybody right minded is genuinely bothered by a politician stumbling over a number.

I didn't actually mention Abbott's specific car-crash of an interview. I can accept & admit she can be embarrassing and made a howler though.

And this is a reminder of her competence:

Come on Matt you can do better than that. Hardly an endorsement of her policies. I live in no more of a bubble than you, probbaly less so. The criminal justice system in this country has been developed over many years and never has terror been a deterrent.

No, eat better. Eating just eating less won't make you lose weight.

It’s a start !

It's really not. Cut out the crap, eat healthier food, but just eating very little really won't help.

Spot on, if you eat right, you don't have to eat less.

Wonder if it's part of the reason Americans are dropping like flies?

Imagine if Diane abbott couldn’t read out aloud a 9 digit number as Home Secretary.

You know, no one has mentioned it.
