No political discussion in this topic. That is complaining about a country, a politician, a party and/or its voters, etc

The ever reliable BBC have done an article on him comparing what he did with the lockdown rulebook.  They state guidelines in March but in fact the guidelines for children were actually added in on April 28th and are now part of the updated guidance of May 18th.  There's no way of accessing the earlier guidance but the timeline is clearly there:

If they've added this in knowing what he's done in an attempt to cover his tracks they are well and truly crooks of the highest order.

Advice on children added on April 28th:

Convenient.

I suspect this simply reflects the poor state of journalism at the BBC ....

The irony being he's exactly the type of non elected person who has too much influence that those who voted for Brexit wanted to rid us of.

He's basically undermined the Government's message and if the 2nd story is true has to go.

If this was on the other foot politically speaking the right wing Tory press would be all over it like a bad rash.

For what it's worth,  hes toast.

That has to be it now, travelling there after he apparently recovered from the virus and in the midst of lockdown removes the last feeble excuse.

Depends on the truthfulness or otherwise of the second story which was led by the Observer/Guardian and Daily Mirror so easy to see some bias there.

If only the first story is correct he will probably survive.

Strangely, if the second story is proven false then he’s now more likely to get away with his initial misdemeanour....

Sometimes the more mud thrown the harder to make it stick.

No 10 says it inaccurate and the reports this morning were inaccurate. The police have said the opposite. Quite interesting to see how this plays out....i reckon he stays.

It seems to be a little more than partisan mud slinging, this one. Though I'm sure Dan Hodges and the fake news merchants at Guido are frantically Googling the names to find out if they're Momentum activists as we speak.

It's perfect. Release part of story. Watch ministers line up dutifully in defence. Undermine the lot with follow up story. Wonderful.

Yep!

Now they look foolish either way. Defend him even more when it's blatantly obvious it's still wrong what he's done. Backtrack and ask for his resigning and it's just looks foolish to have defended him in the first place.
