Benji Posted 12 March 2020 Posted 12 March 2020 It will be an absolute farce if our game isn't cancelled on Saturday if we have players showing symptoms, after Man City / Arsenal was cancelled mid-week for something less. It would show a massive big club bias and could have a big impact on CL qualification. It could take a couple of weeks of our players being less than 100% as flu like symptoms start to show while they perform.

I think it is likely that Watford would kick up a fuss as well as they wouldn’t want the risk of infection either

As Rodgers said in his Sky interview, these things are a matter of health and players have family and children. To those having tests I hope they come back negative and wish the very best for them. Health is more important than football.

The problem is the overwhelming majority of cases of COVID-19 present like a cold. So they'd probably never know they had it unless it got severe.
