We absolutely battered Aston Villa despite us being infested with Coronavirus and ACL's popping.

Massive.

If any of ours test positive then Villa will also have to isolate and test.

My guess is Grealish infected Maddison, Chilwell and Barnes.

On a side note, my auto correct changed Grealish to freakish lol

The Watford match is surely going to be cancelled, right?

F.A. should suspend immediately.

Folk here disagreed with me when I suggested that pre-match group hugs should be banned.

its a respiratory virus passed on via germs in the air. if it is convid19 they probably passed it on sitting next to each other in the changing rooms or on the bikes together in the gym. a pre match hug would have made very little difference in my humble opinion.

We have 3 players with symptoms, if any of them do actually have it that will be our entire club, and any Aston Villa club member close to them on Monday having to be self-isolated and tested

Chelsea cancelled training after squad member may have come close to someone with symptoms

Already had the Arsenal V Man City game suspended due to fears after the Forest/Olympiakos owner confirmed having it, which also resulted in entire Nottingham Forest staff being tested

What on earth are the FA actually doing? Waiting for someone to actually be confirmed as having it, possibly passing it on to all their teammates, and then suspending the league?

Absolute farce.

Do you know what you are talking about? Read up. It is not an airborne virus. It gets passed on through droplets (ie. coughing) and touching infected surface and then touching your nose/mouth.

Twats on twitter speculating on who the Leicester Three are. Nothing better to do evidently.

It can travel via a cough, if you have ever watched myth busters you will know how infectious that is... it is similar to cold/flu, very contiguous. A whole room gets covered by a cough, the droplets have a tendency to travel in the air

Schmeichel will not be at risk of the virus as he never catches anything

Absolutely precious. Nothing like a chuckle when so much is unknown. Thank you 49er. Made my day

The virus can also live in the air for hours.

Federally funded tests conducted by scientists from several major institutions indicated that the novel form of coronavirus behind a worldwide outbreak can survive in the air for several hours.

A study awaiting peer review from scientists at Princeton University, the University of California-Los Angeles and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) posted online Wednesday indicated that the COVID-19 virus could remain viable in the air "up to 3 hours post aerosolization," while remaining alive on plastic and other surfaces for up to three days.

You do know transmission from droplets in the air via coughing/sneezing makes it an airborne virus right?

we can all speculate who the three are but the number could increase not forgetting the coaching staff and anyone else connected with the everyday running of the football club, the club and the stadium might have to into lockdown.

Shut the league (and cup) down until the international break and then go from there. Two weeks off is worth it for the health and safety of thousands more, plus any uncertainty about who has it, who might catch it, the odd match being postponed is taken out of the equation.

Other leagues are doing it, we should follow suit.

As hugging seems to be okay according to some FT members, I'll go out tomorrow and randomly hug anyone who doesn't run away. After all, it'll be Friday the 13th., so what could possibly go wrong?

We may still be dealing with this when next season is supposed to begin.

Although they lost badly, they can take some positives from the game

We could, agreed, which makes it even stranger that the response in football in this country isn't very decisive.
