If Ndidi was a leader, with a strong unifying personality, we would have next to no problems and he would be the most valuable midfielder in the world.

That will come with time, he is still pretty young.

Hopefully. Can you imagine if he became a strong personality like Keane for the club.

I think he has helped Nacho alot, motivating him to improve.

But I guess them both being Nigerian helps.

..not too sure about the last part of your statement!!!

Perhaps said in jest, but your take on Ndidi is something I have pondered before.

Diallo is I believe the next step for Ndidi in respect of style of play and more importantly leadership.

Should we play with both it would fit as a diamond but the use of wingers goes out of the window. With Wilf sold the options are more flexible and Diallo will provide the holding defensive role once held by Wilf.

Funny enough, Diallo is very much like Mendy, metronomic, good passing range and accuracy and drives the team forward.

In a sense you are right, if Wilf could evolve as a leader he would be well sort after.

Bit of hyperbole, but I do think it would genuinely increase his value a lot.

Nearly turned it off after a minute, don't need a winger? Get in the sea Seb.

Luke Taylor did really well for us....

These are clueless we don't need a winger and apparently we have a prospect called luke taylor.

Shared it before having watched it, usually they’re quite good but it was unusually poor from them. Don’t think they even mentioned a CB

Their sensible transfers are dreadful, watched one on barcelona and apparently their top target for midfield should be Fred from man united

Realistically we are unlikely to sign any premiership player of quality and the right age. We may tempt a player of a certain age if we can offer them a three year contract but we will need to be offering 100 k a week. That causes problems with the current squad as some are not getting anywhere near that. The best chance (without taking a punt on continental players) are players from strong championship sides , some of whom will have no trouble playing premiership football.

100% agree with this.

Been watching a lot of Slovenian football lately, one of the stand out midfielders has been a lad called Leon Črnčič, ended up being relegated but was a stand out player in his team, might be worth a cheeky punt?

Now there’s a name which has been mooted in a few windows!

Not interested.  Not enough vowels.
