Prefer Fofana, all day long.

 

Huge potential and slots in more comfortable as the third CB in the squad. He's also a beast in the air and that's a skill set we could do with in our current CB's. if he's as good as what we think he is then his value is only going north.

 

Compare that to Tarkowski who is very good but his value only decreases from this point onwards. Give me potential over stability every day of the week.

Breaking into the French national team at CB is no mean feat! They've got tonnes of the ****ers.

West Ham are bidding £15m for him apparently, probably go for a bit more than that as they always low ball clubs

Wow - 15 million?  Well, I'm skeptical of that supposed bid but if WHU want Rodon 15 million bad, I'd step aside and let them go nuts.

I think this may go quiet until ASSE have done the replacement business.  As someone pointed out if their French Club Counterparts know they are holding folding, they too will get rinsed.  Be prepared @Countryfox

Well even at 15M you'd still probably be looking at a 30 million gap to Tarkowski.  Can't imagine Burnley letting him go for less.

I don’t doubt Tarkowski can defend and will be good on the ball but every time I’ve seen him he looks slow. Fofana will be an asset if Brendan wants to play a high line because he has a lot more speed. Both Burnley and St Etienne are asking way to much but it looks like one clubs will get what they want.
