coolhandfox Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 Lot of money for a kid with 19 apps! This is going to be interesting. Didn't Sky say we had no money?

Dandy king Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 Smash man city and get a long term target. Not a bad few days work chaps 2

urban.spaceman Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 From their forum... Loaning Benkovic to them would be ideal IMO. If Wilf hadn't got injured AND Papy hadn't performed so brilliantly recently then I could have seen that happening. Lucky for us he's brilliant. 2

urban.spaceman Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 "No full agreement yet, but Leicester's new offer: 35 million euros, 5 million bonus and 20% on the capital gain. This last offer should tip the record. Wesley Fofana is very close to having his club's agreement to enter the Premier League."
urban fox Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 so at today's exchange rate thats £31.8M plus £4.5M in add-ons. So we are not as skint as some make out after all (well we may be now) 1

They know jack, however the sale of Chilwell has meant our net spend will be quite small. Superb business so far.

Papy was never leaving on loan after a new deal was signed.

dannythefox Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 I can’t see a 20% sell on fee that’s just crazy.

Trust me this kid is amazing. Much better than spaffing £40m on Tarks to be a rotation option.... 1
urban fox Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 Not sure about the 20% sell on, that seems a bit steep considering the risk we are taking on such a young player. even so if we were to sell him on in a couple of years for say £60M we still make £15M profit. 1

FoxinNotts Posted 29 September 2020 Posted 29 September 2020 Good work, buttering up Puel with a ‘happy Birthday’ message on our official website 😂 4
Popular Post AjcW Posted 29 September 2020 Popular Post Posted 29 September 2020 We sold a bang average CB for £80m and a patchy at best LB for (around) £60m I think taking a risk on someone we clearly rate at £35m is okay... given the above for context. 8
Popular Post murphy Posted 29 September 2020 Popular Post Posted 29 September 2020 It basically works out as swapping Chilwell for Castagne and Fofana. I'm happy with that. 11
