He'd be good competition for Maddison and the. fact he can play anywhere across the attacking 3 midfield positions means he'd add depth to the squad. Someone like him isn't a priority but at £15m he may be too good to miss out on at that price.

11pm a week today (October 5) for all deals not between us and EFL clubs (that includes inter-PL deals).

 

Any signings from Champ/L1/L2 can still happen until 5pm, October 16.

So when you consider the starting line up for LCFC are at the standard of the Celtic's reservers , that must mean Maddison,  Pereira and Barnes and co are worth about 500k each!

Definitely, liked what I have seen whenever Swansea have been on TV. Very accomplished on the ball as well, which is a Leicester City remit nowadays.

I agree... Some also need to get over the fact that Celtic is a massive club, bigger than us... and anyone that says any different is off their rocker. 

 

Possibly something Sutton needs to get over is the fact that the Premier League is massive compared to the Scottish Premiership and carry on waffling about Rodgers leaving to take up the opportunity to go back to England. Our owner reportedly said, "take it now or the chance is gone". Not "I tell you what, stay until the end of the season and win the league again, because Celtic is a priority to me over the club I own..."  He could have turned it down, we appoint someone else, and he not get offered a job in England again for another 3 or 4 years... 

 

In general, I actually enjoy listening to Chris Sutton, he does come out with some rubbish to get a reaction, but it's funny...

I've been wondering where this Celtic reserves thing came from. Makes so much sense now you've named him. I actually feel a little silly for not working it out myself.
