Not gonna lie, I'm feeling pretty emotional knowing that Kingy's time with us is at an end. Spent the day reflecting on the mad journey we've been on since he first broke into the first team.

Relegation, League One, play off heartbreak (twice), weathering the managerial merry-go-round, promotion to the Premier League, the Great Escape and our finest hour the season after. Only one player has seen it all with us, and that's Mr. King.

So what's your favourite memory of his time with the club? For me, the goal against Everton on the day we lifted the PL trophy has got to be up there, but there are plenty of great moments scattered throughout the seasons. His goal to win it against Forest on my 18th birthday is a close second.

And yes, you can say the 'Many Faces Of Andy King' thread if you want.

Thank you Kingy.

His goal against West ham in the great escape season was so important to stop the rut and start the escape.

Yeah I'd have to go for this one. Massive goal.

Goal at Cardiff away in the play offs or Preston away, few weeks before, which sealed us in the play offs. The latter was the better day, obviously.

Was fantastic to see him score on the day we lifted the trophy.

He was top class during 2010/11 too. I remember Coventry away when he lobbed the keeper from a weird angle and it took our whole away end about 5 seconds to realise it had gone in.

Think he got about 15 goals that year and most of them were really nice.

That belter to complete the comeback against Leeds.

The little chip against Cov.

The scramble against West Ham.

The complete performance against Everton as Champion.

That screamer against Man City.

Too many moments to mention. The lads a legend.

He was celebrating by the corner flag when I realised that Coventry chip was in.

That picture is phenomenal. Made in Leicester.

The little chip against Coventry. Absolutely brilliant goal.

I can still picture that looping in now.

It took an age to go in and he started celebrating before I knew for certain it had.

Great scenes.

Goal at Upton Park .. think we lost 2-1 though

3-2 I think that one? Might've been Howard who scored aswell.

It was quite a lively away end if i remember correctly, despite the result.

That header away at Cardiff in the play offs. Completed the initial turnaround. I know it didn't amount to anything at the time but the pure pandemonium as he wheeled away and he pulled his standard no emotion goal celebration was magic.

I thought King got both?

Was that the same game that Beckford got booed for taking an age to get off the pitch when being subbed off? My only ever trip to Upton Park but thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the result.

You might be right - I remember the good finish, I think the second was a bit of a scramble.

I thought the Beckford moment was Peterborough or maybe he did it more than once haha.

It's weird thinking back to these games less than 10 years ago that feel a lifetime ago.

All of them.

Too many to mention.

He came on to the scene and was a glint of light in a very dark time. Then he stormed it from our lowest point and was a huge player in our return to the championship.
He has scored worldies with both feet, sublime headed goals, scuffs, tap ins and deflections. The lads done it all and won it all here and I hope it’s not the last we see of him. I’ve idolised players from the O’Neill era but King was the first one to win that respect since and we’ve just improved as a club every year since he has been here.

Don't know about favourite moment, but this goal was great, and epitomised his ability to make late runs into space and finish well:

This one was high on my list too! Probably just behind the Forest goal for me.

Yak's screamer obviously gets remembered more, but this was another day when he put in a MOTM performance in a local derby.

He was also the best player on the pitch (and netted) the day we sneaked into the playoffs with Knocky's late one IMO. Lad just loved felling the Trees.

Was this under Sven as I think that was when he was at his peak. Think Everton were after him as well during this period.
