Still very little detail on the local lockdown but they have said all non essential travel to and from Leicester is now banned - presumably that means travelling teams and many of our players to and from the stadium?

I sense games due at home will be played on neutral grounds and players will stay in hotels in a bubble away from leicester for a few weeks

Firstly they are recommending against non-essential travel - it is not “banned”.

 

Secondly, even at the height of the pandemic, there were never any legal restrictions on travel for work purposes.

 

So although the details are yet to be published, I very much doubt this will have any effect on our games at all.

Apparently we will look for clarity tomorrow. We will find out very quickly because we have a game on Wednesday and a weekend home fixture. ESPN have also suggested that we may have to play home matches at neutral venues.

All of this is completely correct. I wouldn't rule out an over reaction, but as things stand it shouldn't make a difference.

Not sure in a lockdown scenario that playing a premier league football match is essential.

I’m more concerned about where they can train.  If Leicester city is out of bounds, then matches can be played elsewhere, but where will they train?

They can train as normal, same as people who can't work from home will still travel to work.

Play it midweek between spurs and man u. That way palace will get a weeks rest before Chelsea and we can see what's needed later in the season in the last 3 games.

We could play our remaining matches in Durham. Every scumbag is allowed to go there during lockdowns.

Let's take the results of when we played all our remaining games the 1st time around this season, that'll be 6 wins and a defeat then please. 3rd place in the bag and Vardy on about 38 goals.
