enmac Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 My first thought - Mi. Wouldn't mind a front 3 of Collymore, Vardy and Heskey either.
wattolcfc Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 (edited) Collymore would probably be the first one I'd take, even if he wasn't around for long. Izzet and Heskey are the next 2. Edited 10 July 2020 by wattolcfc 1
Ric Flair Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 Collymore and Vardy would be a frightening prospect in a 3-4-1-2 with Izzet and Ndidi running the show and Maddison or Barnes in just behind the dream team. 3
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 Muzzy would strengthen any Leicester team. Heskey would add something we are missing, a little more presence up front. Don't think any of the defenders are better than what we have now. If we could have a Steve Guppy who was physically up to today's standards that would be useful for crossing ability, but then again we have Albrighton who is pretty much the modern version of Guppy and he is like a square peg at the moment in a Rodgers team. 1
Popular Post Lesta2014 Posted 10 July 2020 Popular Post Posted 10 July 2020 (edited) Matt Elliott was technically very good so I’d add him to other names said so far Edited 10 July 2020 by Lesta2014 6

Although defensively we look solid Evans and Soyuncu are pretty mediocre at attacking set pieces, they miss some absolute sitters often in the same game. Football has moved on from relying on goals from defenders at set pieces but it's still an invaluable asset to have if possible and something we aren't blessed with. 1
Koke Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 In terms of starting 11 only Collymore and Izzet would improve us. As a squad, Heskey، Guppy, Elliott.
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 10 July 2020 Popular Post Posted 10 July 2020 Muzzy gets into every Leicester side in history IMO. Matt Elliott would probably play too. 6
martyn Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 (edited) Peak Matt Elliott would have every chance of displacing Jonny Evans. Very very similar in terms of defensive ability, both comfortable with ball at feet, but Elliott is more of a goal threat from set pieces. Edited 10 July 2020 by martyn
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 10 July 2020 Popular Post Posted 10 July 2020 Matt Elliott would have an England cap if he played now. 5
coolhandfox Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 (edited) Guppy, Izzett, Heskey, Elliot and Lennon would easily improve the squad. Edited 10 July 2020 by coolhandfox
Guest Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 Why is this in transfer talk? Are there even rumours that we are going to sign any of them?

I’ve been watching since 1965 & a season ticket holder since 1983. I suspect I’m in the minority here, and the ‘game is all about opinions’, but Muzzy - love him as I did - probably wouldn’t make an all-time squad of 25 for me. Matty McElliott on the other hand plays in my starting XI, in which Walshy has lost his place to one of Huth or Evans, depending on my mood! 1

kyleolly Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 Mike whitlow would drastically improve us at left back

What you'd give to see an Elliott bullet header or a Muzzy long range volley/ shot again.

RumbleFox Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 As squad members Flowers, Elliott, Guppy, Lennon, Muzzy, Collymore and Heskey. Of those I think Elliott, Muzzy, Collymore snd Heskey would be first team. X

Jimbo Posted 10 July 2020 Posted 10 July 2020 Pontus Kaamark and Matt Elliott were remarkable defenders. Heskey as foil for Vardy would be great. Prime Collymore would get in any match day squad at least. Izzet would make the bench, as would Flowers
