Sly Posted 18 April 2021 Posted 18 April 2021 If the Five teams are joining a “Super League”, could the Premier League look to exclude them, thus opening up the chance to drop to 18 teams, relegate the bottom 3 as per, then award the European spots to those that are left?

They don't want to leave the PL. It's a rival competition to the CL. Anyway, even if they did want to leave, I can't see the PL wanting it. The league gets millions of viewers worldwide to watch the the top 6 sides. The same people probably aren't bothered about watching other teams/games.

The large amount of injury time came from the Fulham goalkeeper sitting down faking injury and taking his boot off.

ARM1968 Posted 18 April 2021 Posted 18 April 2021 Heard they’re thinking of renaming the league next season, but keeping the acronym. It will be called English Paupers League.
