That job is far too big for Arteta, I get the thinking behind his appointment but it isn't working.

That said, Arsenal are going to take a lot more than one summer to turn around, they've been horrendously run in regards to playing staff and contracts for years.

them and United have been at panic stations for quite a few years now. The big 6 doesn’t really exist anymore, it’s just the media trying to hold onto it.

What was said?!

Evra recalling sitting down to watch an Arsenal game on telly with Thierry Henry.

They saw Xhaka was captain, Henri turned the telly off saying to Evra that Xhaka is a poor player, shouldn't be playing for Arsenal.

Patrice Evra - gossipmonger lol

Jeez.

Sky just showing Elneny should have been sent off, too.

Lifts his hands to Tarkowski, then fakes an injury.

What were VAR doing watching that back and not sending him off ?

Arsenal are the gift that keeps on giving.

Arteta's stats remind you of David Moyes at Manchester United. First defeat to a team in 40 years, 35 years, 20 years etc.

10 goals in 12 games is appalling. I think our teams that finished bottom and were bottom in 2014/15 for months had comparable records.

I just wanted to say a word on Brighton. They are utter garbage. Potter got a nice gig down there but he comes across as being out of his depth. I hope Brighton stay up because I hate Burnley, but @Ric Flairis correct, Brighton get a free ride despite not improving at all in 3 years in this league

The interesting thing about Arsenal potentially going into the bottom three, is that they would never bring in a “rescue specialist” to steady them for a few months.

So they either stick with Arteta and hope for the best or???

Bet you’d get interesting odds on a 4 month Arsene return....

I think generally they are better than they were towards the end of Hughton's reign- his last few months were dreadful and they limped to survival.

Potter wants to play good football, they miss an awful lot of chances but results haven't been good in 2020. Depends how they view themselves because I don't think they'll go down. Will they get much higher under him? Doubtful.

I think they need a hassenhuttl type, they spend more than enough cash, have a great infrastructure and good financial backing so there’s no reason they shouldn’t be doing better.

I really wanted potter to do well, I think he would have done better staying at Swansea and building them back into the premier league.

To include arsenal In The “top 6” at present is a joke. They are awful. The fact that they have lost all discipline over recent weeks is a clear sign of a club in decline. There is definitely trouble at the mill there. How long before sky start to distance their narrative
