Villa looking v good- they were just one terrible VAR decision from playing Barnsley and Luton this season

Lets see where they are after January, they have had a very favourable fixture list.

In the next 4 they have:

Chelsea

Man U

Spurs

Everton

That Arsenal side screams 'please knock us out of the league cup', deffo not what you'd expect for a Premier League game against Chelsea..

Or maybe that Arteta has decided since he's going down, he'll do it with a stiff middle finger and not with Edu's / Kia's crap players?  No David Luiz, Willian or Cedric.

No the Goal line technology bizarrely failed on the game against Sheff Utd. That point kept them up. They didn't deserve to stay up yet they did. They don't deserve to be in this league and the minute they get relegated again will be celebration time.

Arteta can always fall back on his acting career if he gets the push at Arsenal

This is barely spoken about, but is arguably one of the biggest failings of technology in English football. Villa should've been down, which (deservedly) then cost Howe his job.

He’s carrying that team.

Took his goal well today but that "assist" was pure luck. Plus, he has scored loads of penalties.  He's a good player but they're taking about jim as a PFA player of the season winner.
