The pitch has helped them there. No way that ball holds up like that at the KP!

great pen though.

Pope won the ball there.

Fantastic penalty nonetheless. I can’t stand those pens where the player does a little jump. Just put your foot through it

That should be a Burnley goal. Why can't VAR check that? The ref blew after the ball hit the net.

Sounded to me like he blew his whistle as it was going in which is the worst thing he could've done in that situation.

If not it should’ve been a pen to Burnley. He seems a bit of a homer.

Assume that’s because VAR can’t overrule free kicks?

Weird how you can play on for minutes on end after an incident, even rule out a goal scored after said incident and bring it back for a penalty, but you can't give a penalty for something because the ref penalised the wrong team originally?

Tarkowski ain't worth no 50 mill

You wouldn't think Evans would be that good the season WBA went down.

Tarkowski clearly doesn't want to play for Burnley anymore and it's showing

Honestly, they likely could if they wanted to. See the United 97th min pen after the final whistle.

Burnley take a shot, gets a deflection off of his own player (Benson) and Burnley players all appeal for a corner, including Benson himself. Footballers are ****ing embarrasing. Refs undoubtedly sometimes are swayed by heavy appeals from players and its no wonder they **** up sometimes when players flat out cheat.
