Man U won’t win the league. They ain’t good enough.

I agree, they have a world class attack but a bottom half defence. We can match them any day! Come on boys lets not get too disheartened, one result isn't going to change our whole season and the title race is just hotting up...COME ON LEICESTER:barnes:

Some were going on about Fulham

breaking Derby’s record at the beginning of the season because they lost a few early on. They’re actually quite a fun team to watch and I’d expect them to stay up

If they'd made signings in the summer and not left it until deadline day they'd be comfortably mid table by now.

Every team in the current top seven has exploitable flaws (yes, including Leicester).

Man City is on the best results form over the last five.

Leicester is perking up.

Everton have one blot (loss) in the last five.

West Ham are on the same form as Leicester.

Outside the top seven, Arsenal are on four wins one draw.

Who will best work around their flaws and go on a streak?

Yep every game is nervy at the end and there not gonna get away with it every game. In there last few games they won 2-1 against Fulham, 0-0 against Liverpool, 1-0 against burnley, 2-1 against villa etc. you get the point, they are narrowly winning games and in the future they will drop points. The difference between us and united is that we always look like we have goals in us whereas united don't look like they have goals in them. Maybe too reliant on Fernandes?

They had a ridiculously short turn around between getting promoted and the season starting. This would be a difficult season to be newly promoted anyway, let alone with so much uncertainty about what division you’re in and the finances related - Parker deserves a fair amount of credit

Our next game means we have played the closest 3 teams to the top 5...in about a week, win it, and with Spurs v Liverpool the next night, the top4 will have a healthy lead on 5/6th and below, not only that we owe Everton, and have done well in recent times at Goodison.....crucial game....

Yeah I like him, and their football. He gets a lot of shit for “not getting excited/showing emotion” but I get the impression he’s just quite shy and likes to just get on with the job in hand!

Van de beek was horrifically advised going to united

they already have bruno and his style is ajax built not a fast break physical united style of football

His agent needs firing for not moving him towards a team which didnt have a 10 and where he would play football most weeks.

I'm sure his agency did well out the deal.

I wonder if we might have one eye on VDB though  as a potential future target to replace a big sale

Nothing wrong with the Man City goal. Mings plays it forward and so from that point it's a new phase of play.

Put it this way, you measure offside from the point the ball is played by your own player. The pass is a thing of history by the time Mings controls and takes it forward, so offside cannot be applied. It makes total sense.

I thought that was common knowledge, apparently not if Premier League players and managers are up in arms.

sorry your happy to see goal hanging

if so you have a different take to me, I hate cheats hanging around up front offside and scoring goals or assisting. IFAB are twats.

That is the reason it is given, the rule is lent great though because Rodri clearly forces the mistake from an offside position

You're only offside when a team mate is playing you through. Nothing wrong with standing behind the last man.

Average football fan in below average comprehension shocker. Don't worry yourself about it.

Exactly. Could’ve given offside and avoid all controversy. It likely would’ve been seen as a valid decision too.

No sympathy for Villa though. It’s Villa.

You're asking refs to ignore the rules here. And people want consistency? What's the point in rules if the refs are allowed to make it up as they go along? That really would be chaos.
