Updates on the expansion

Can we just (without locking it) delete all posts and ban any further ones in this thread, so that the OP comes back in a bit and realises nobody cares about his "I know something you don't know" ego trip

Absolute scenes when we expand the ground and nobody is allowed in for five years.

Would be fine with that to be honest. Spread the construction out over a few years to spread the cost, with a gradual return perhaps starting with hospitality to bring in more money.

As an extra plus, Spurs would be struggling for much longer with a brand spanking new stadium they can't profit from. Win win.

News is we can no longer expand the ground as the cheap steel has melted in today's heat.

Heard it was jet fuel, personally

Makes no sense to expand the ground if the conditions remain the same for the next months with no fans allowed in. Counterintuitively, an ideal time to do the work with no one in the stadium.

King Power maybe reassessing priorities given their income stream is badly affected so I’d be surprised if there were to do it now

Been 5 and a half years and I'm still awake. What's happening dg?

Reminds me (IIRC) of the Leeds account posting something similar, then announcing a kid had left the club on loan

Would be a great time to start works with fans still being locked out.

How do clubs usually do announcements like this, is put out that  blueprint has been drawn or do they just break ground fairly quick?

You couldn't blame the Club if they decided to shelve the expansion until we return to some sort of normal. It just seems the prudent thing to do.

Think the opposite really, build now whilst no body will be attending games for months.
