Our Internationals 2020/21

From the BBC website with reference to TAA's injury for England v Austria:

Wan-Bissaka, Justin James or Lamptey to replace him?

Not only did they fail to realise that he is long term injured, but they also got his name the wrong way around.  Quality journalism!

Full Time 2-2, Suengchitthawon played the full 90 for Thailand and he was one of their best players!

Below is from FotMob as WhoScored hasn't done any reporting/player ratings for this game

Not bad for his first Competitive International Start!

Under scores after coming on as 2nd half v Moldova. Don't get why he wasn't at least given more chances as an impact sub.

I understand your point, but don't compare Moldova to playing in the Prem.

He had moments of class, but an excessive amount of shots from 40yards or running into blind alleys. Wasnt fit enough and picked up injuries.

But he can sometimes do the unexpected. I'm only saying we could have brought him on with 20 minutes to go when we were just not breaking through. 10 man Southampton for example.

Well it was Moldova!

I watched Under when he played. For a player coming to us on multi million pound loan to be so over weight and out of shape was taking the p*ss. He had a few half decent FA cup games and the PL one with the assist to Vardy but that aside he basically had no football brain. You could he was being trained in ball retention to midfield when he was on the pitch but he couldn't grasp it and thats why he ran into so many dog legged alleyways and ended up shooting blind.

https://www.lcfc.com/news/2166245/nigerian-duo-feature-on-international-stage

Foxes pairing Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were both involved in Nigeria’s narrow defeat to Cameroon on Friday evening.

Popular Nigeria duo Iheanacho and Ndidi both started for the Super Eagles at Stadion Wiener Neustadt, as André-Frank Zambo Anguissa’s first half strike gave Cameroon victory.

Earning his 39th cap for Nigeria, 24-year-old midfielder Ndidi played the full game while in-form striker Iheanacho was replaced by former Fox Ahmed Musa on 65 minutes.

Both Iheanacho and Ndidi had chances to equalise for Gernot Rohr’s side after the interval, but Cameroon held on as both sides got their summer internationals underway.
