Food that makes you gag

Also what's a food you've changed your opinion on?

I used to be against the idea of black pudding completely but tried it on a brekker once and good grief I'd have it coming out of my taps now if I could.

Steak which has any pink in it.

I would have sent it back and asked them to finish cooking it 5 years ago.

Now I love a medium steak.

Pink Peppercorns are #1. Any steak peppercorn sauce with them in it makes me instantly vomit. So weird.

Black pudding #2 as I got food poisoning off it once and now can't even smell it without feeling queasy.

Marmite #3 - can eat it without vomiting but its intensely bitter and unpleasant. Twiglets are even worse somehow.

Strong dislikes: Sweet chilli sauce (foul), Parsnips, tomato ketchup, fish pate, coconut (especially Bountys!)

Those glazed cherries on top of bakewell tarts.

Normal cherries are great but whatever they do those I can't stomach.

Bakewell tarts smell like the toilet blocks you get in urinals - can't be having them at all, cherry or no cherry.

Honeydew, cantaloupe try every now and then but still can’t stomach them.

water melon is fine though.

I get the honeydew and cantaloupe. Quite greasy on the palate with a lingering aftertaste that isn't very nice. And both of them give me sore gums.

Had Polenta when in Bergamo as they eat loads over there. Vile

My wife makes a polenta cake for my bro who is gluten intolerant. It contains fresh, sweet berries and is quite lovely. The polenta is a replacement for flour.
